The Swan Lake static scene is delivered as six JPEG files, each representing a distinct lighting state designed to give directors precise control over the mood and time of day throughout the ballet's lakeside acts.
The sequence opens with a single daytime state - pale, open sky and clear water, before moving into two dusk options that progressively deepen in tone, allowing a director to begin the scene at last light and gradually transition into evening as the drama builds. Two night states complete the set: one lit by a full moon casting shimmering light across the water, one darker and stripped of that comfort, suited to the ballet's more menacing or ambiguous moments. Each state has been lit with a theatrical eye, using the natural light sources of the scene, sky, moon, reflected water - to create a mood that integrates cleanly with stage lighting.
